The Early Bird

Who doesn’t love a good sale? Even better? Who doesn’t love a sale they don’t need to leave their home for? No need to drive, fight for parking or any of that and it’s this combination that makes Rue La La one of my favorite places to shop online. The sales change daily, so shoppers need to get while the getin is good!

Good quality basic are a must for every fashionista’s wardrobe, they’re a good investment and are easy to layer. You can never have too many black tops and my new one from Tart Collection’s has quickly become my favorite. It draps well and it very forgiving when I chose to wear it with something snug.

It’s no secret I’m a jewelry junkie. I love all kinds of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. From classic, simple pieces to statement pieces, I have a little bit of everything. A tiny problem came across when this amazing necklace from Amrita Singth arrived, it was too small for my neck. This isn’t a first with me and necklaces. Instead of returning it, I simply went to a Michael’s Craft store and bought extra split rings and voilà, instant length added! Being a plus sized gal doesn’t mean having to return jewelry that’s to tight or short, there are a tons of ways to make it work for you.

Lastly, to all my curvy readers look for amazing colored pants and denim, NYDJ are a must, they go up to size 24 and have tall and petite lengths. I love all their amazing colors and they hold up so well in the wash and fit so nicely with their ‘Lift & Tuck’ technology. More on that later!
