If there is an actor who seems genuinely down to earth it’s Anne Hathaway. She has always on my list of stylish celebrities and always manages to look sleek, elegant and of course sexy.
What I love, and I mean love about Hathaway who graced Interview Magazine’s September cover, is how dark and morbid she looks. A dark, gothic princess is a role she rarely plays in photos or films.
One of her first big breaks was Disney’s The Princess Diaries and many films after that were bright, lovable and bubbly. Who can forget her ‘I just fell into the fashion’ role in The Devil Wears Prada and her role in the modern day fairy tail Ella Enchanted. Then in 2008 she plays Kim in Rachel Getting Married. Hathaway plays a drug-addicted, depressed sister and that was when, for the first time, she stepped outside of her acting box. She got an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for her role.

The cover of Interview Magazine September 2011 issue reminds me how dark Hathaway can be and I’m look forward to her upcoming role as Catwoman in the last installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises. Hathaway does have a darker, grim side to her and I look forward to see where her career goes from here.
